Biography
Tima Hiba is an artist who works in the music and theatre domain. She composes music (instrumental
and songs) and also writes and directs stage plays (musical and otherwise). She is the co-founder of
Hichi Arts, an entertainment group whose mission is to provide wholesome content marinated in
grace, truth, and enjoyment.
MUSICAL JOURNEY:
Tima began playing the piano when she was eight years old, mostly out of curiosity and by watching
her older sister play. She didn’t receive formal education in music, but learnt how to play by the ear.

Composing & Writing
It was in that same year that she composed her first song. She went on playing and composing through
her primary and high school years until she began to develop an interest in instrumentals by listening
to classical music and film scores.
Watching many musicals growing up also cultivated in her a desire to write musicals.
In her early university years, she and her sisters formed a singing group, Three Times Over, and produced an album, Conviction, that contained songs composed and sung by her and her sisters.
She also collaborated with an artist years later, F. M. P, and composed a song which he produced, Bright and beautiful.
That was a milestone as being the first song she had ever written for an artist to produce and perform.
A few years later, she opened up a YouTube channel, Hichi, to post her instrumentals, and a couple of years later, produced her first major musical, Topsy-Turvy, which was all her own original music.
She continues to write and compose knowing that for her, this is only the beginning for indeed, the sky’s the limit
